I had been waiting for it for months. It finally happened : in August and September, I travelled across Tajikistan. Hiking through the Pamirs, the Roof of the World, was an incredible experience in this surprising and peaceful country.

In the beginning of July, I went for a hiking trip to the Retezat National Park of Romania with my friend Jannis. We wanted to make a short and fun trip, going there hitchhiking and relaxing in the mountains.
Little did we know that we were about to have a difficult and intense experience, in which Romania (and Romanian people) showed once again an amazing side of their culture.

I am starting now two new photography exhibitions! The first one, organized by Culture Insoumise, is the first exhibition taking place in my hometown. It will be from May 21st to 25th. The second one will be hosted by the Bálint Ház in Budapest, and will be longer : from June 19th to July 21st!

I was taking care of the visual style and light. And Andrea Szakal was helping us out for costumes and set !

Here is a picture I have been preparing for a long time : the tears of the old man, is a portrait using a strong fashion style in the middle of which an older man is staring at the camera.
The point of the picture is to question the link between his blue tears and the wrinkles on his face.
The picture is meant to be printed on a large canvas, bringing a new constrast between the modern style and the traditional material.
The print will be for sale soon!

I am preparing a series of much more abstract pictures. Using different techniques of sculpting and macro photography,
I will try to approach some themes that are important to me in a totally different way from what I have done so far.
Here is a quick test, and the first pictures will be coming in the next few weeks.

It has been a project for a long time, but now it is official : this summer, I will be travelling through Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan ! I will fly to Dushanbe on August 12th, and for 25 days, I will be going across the two countries. I have a lot to prepare, including learning basic russian to be able to communicate, and practicing horse riding, as I am planning to mostly travel on horseback! Of course, I will bring a lot of film stocks, and I hope to take some good pictures !
